The popular board game Evolution was awarded as 2019’s Digital Game of the Year and North Star Digital Studios soon planned to launch the Switch version of the game. 

Hashbyte Studio developed the Nintendo Switch version of the game by making it the perfect play and pass game. The switch version has all the elements a digital board game player wants, like a single-player campaign with distinct AI opponents, find opponents based on the online-matching, weekly challenges, gorgeous hand-drawn species, etc. 

The amazing Nintendo Switch version of the award-winning Evolution will be live on 10th, 2020, and the pre-order was available in stores with a new Evolutionary Arms Race PromoPack add-on that has 5 new trait cards. 

The game starts with an amazing learn-and-play tutorial. The players can select traits to develop species to survive in the realities of nature. They have the chance of being attacked by predators. Protect them with hard shells and horns. They also have long neck animals that bring inaccessible within the reach. The genetic combinations of animals can be enjoyed with the additional animations, artwork, and the campaign mode of wild deadly bosses.

Evolution is an award-winning board game designed by North Star Games. It is a single-player campaign with distinct AI opponents. The players have to adapt their species with limited resources and stay one step ahead of the opponents.

We at Hashbyte Studio had the privilege of developing the Nintendo Switch version of the board game. It was such a pleasant experience to work on this project while getting to know over 12,000 different species in the ecosystem. 

The switch version of the Strategy Game of Adaptation will be live on December 10th, 2020 and the switch is now available for pre-order. 

The game has an interactive tutorial and weekly challenges to test the skills of the players. The unique progression ladder and the online ranking system of the game allows the users to see their improvement. The gorgeous hand-drawn species are the best part of this game.
